Loosening up a bit, Sora stretched an elbow behind his head and let his fists open and close with an easing demeanor. If she didn’t believe that he was just as well-rested as anyone else in her tired little town, he’d have to work on extending the truth some more. While it may not have come as a surprise to him, considering Naminé’s intuitive skills, he wanted to prove a point.
Said point wasn’t him wanting to lie to her in particular, especially when that meant betraying her trust… it was all in good taste! Helping her believe that he was alright (even though he was far from) would only assure that the blonde didn’t worry any longer, right? He was only concerned for her best interest - justification was unnecessary. If he tried, the keyblader would probably give himself a migraine even worse than the last. “Couldn’t hurt…” Trailing off, his gaze bore holes into the ground. A little R&R would do him wonders, and if the Gummi Ship wasn’t running, then he wouldn’t be wasting any time! “Well, all right. Let’s get to it!”
While she had hoped that Sora would be willing to take some time and breathe while in Twilight Town for however long he planned to stay, she hadn’t particularly expected that he would include her. And that was ridiculous, she supposed, to expect him not to include her when she was right here and it was honestly like he was willing to open his heart and arms to anyone. Lips thinning for a moment as she pressed them together firmly, her gaze flitted about their general surroundings before she relented, nodding agreeably. ”Alright, let’s go,” she verbalized her thoughts, gesturing with her hands for Sora to start moving first, though it was beyond here where they would go, let alone where he could lead them. There were plenty of places in Twilight Town to go… the trouble was choosing the right one. ”Do you have anywhere you want to go?” Sora knew Twilight Town, at least a little bit, didn’t he? It was safe to ask, she thought.
