There was always an impossible pull that she felt towards Destiny Islands. It was only natural she supposed, because her Somebody was from there. The tropical world always felt something like home and her feet sunk into the sand as she stepped out of the portal, almost immediately slipping in between her feet and her sandals. Toeing them off she bent over and picked them up, enjoying the feeling of the feet between her toes.

Waves crashed against her sound and called out to her in their alluring voices and she couldn’t resist the urge to step forwards, to dip her feet into the cool water and feel the ocean wash over her skin. Wet sand tickled, and she couldn’t resist allowing herself to smile a little bit, privately and to herself.

[ This was true peace. ]

Wandering a little further out she exhaled happily as water rushed in and came to the middle of her calves. A wayward wave crashed against her legs but missed her skirt, thankfully, and she let her thoughts drift. Peace… this was something foreign yet familiar to her. This feeling as being one with the ocean, the sand, the sounds and the smells.

The sound of feet against the sand made her start and her shoulders stiffened before she turned her head, glancing at who was there through her bangs. Enamel dug into her bottom lip when she saw who was there and she turned a little further, struggling to keep her face passive.

                                             ”Hello…” it’s you.
