For her oblivious nature he was glad. The youth smiled in return, and gave a brief nod towards her question. It was interesting to hear that she wanted to read, though in hindsight it wasn’t much, really. She was artistic, after all, which meant she probably would end up drawing or sketching or painting from what she did read. Stories held the power of the imagination.
“Yeah. It’s fine with me. I’ve read most all of them, anyway, so there would be no rush to return them. No late fines, either.“ Ace confirmed once again. He did trust her, more than she probably did realize, as was the case with his opinion of her. Despite their meeting having been anything but ordinary, he did feel just a bit more normal around her.
“They took me a while to get used to, as well.” And with that, he began to walk down the lavish corridors.

Books had honestly been used to fill the time while she was in the old mansion when she could not get very far with piecing Sora’s memory back together. There had been a block, and while that was being dealt with she had little to do, so books were her go to thing. After all, with a rather large library, she had plenty to read—just nothing particularly interesting in the end.
Following after Ace easily she glanced around at the halls that she was, somewhat, beginning to get used to. They really were very lavish and beautiful in a way that had made her head spin the first time she walked through them, and they still did a little bit. It didn’t really help that all of the halls looked somewhat similar to each other, but that was only to be expected—it was a school after all.
”How long did it take you to get used to them?” A curious mind wanted to know. After all, it was his school, and he did seem to know it well at this point—one thing she did not really know about him, was how long he had been there. With a room as his it was clearly not a school that was attended for several hours like the ones in Twilight Town.
In the end, it really did appear that they did not know each other through and through—implicit trust aside.
