What're your real feelings for Riku? :>
For the next five questions my Muse cannot tell a lie.

         Riku.

                    That was an interesting topic.

The relationship between herself and RIku was unsaid and hidden yet kept in plain sight for all to see if they looked hard enough, if they were there. An entire year was spent together, but the only person who had witnessed it had been each other and DiZ, and no one else knew what happened behind the doors and walls of the old mansion that they stayed in side by side. A sad but true fact, their time was not shown off or given much notice, because they had both been striving towards the same thing.

But there had been moments in between, when Riku was not gone and she was not busy trying to find pieces of Sora’s memories that had been lost in his heart and mind, when she did not have her sketchbook in front of her and a crayon in her hand. Those moments had been spent in each other’s company, her worrying after any wounds that he may have had and him simply being there, occasionally offering a comment.

In the end it had truly and sincerely been a year spent together—

And that year was important, in many ways.

Being around the young man was simple. It did not demand for anything, it did not call for anything, she could just sit near him and be silent and it was entirely acceptable. And Naminé knew that she owed him a lot, for everything that he had done and sacrificed and everything that she had done to him, had so much to say to him.

                                             So much to apologize for.

But he also stirred up things inside of her that didn’t quite make sense, things that she did not oftentimes dwell on because it was difficult to comprehend them. Likely not feelings, though they were certainly something significant—but nonetheless, that did not change the way that she felt about him, saw him in her mind’s eye.

Because he was the person who decided to face the darkness inside of him and did not take her offer to help him, the person who she placed her hope in, the person who gave an entire year of his life in order to aid his best friend and help him get back to normal, even as he lost memories of him. The person who did unspeakable things, things even Sora and Kairi probably did not know about, all in the name of following what he thought was right. The person who accepted the role of knight, when he was originally meant to be king—

                                                      ”Riku is... special to me.”

                                             Special…

                                                            ”No—

                                                                        ——He’s... very important.”

Still not quite right, but it would do. Because really, that was how she felt towards him—he was Riku, and she was Naminé, and he was important to her, and in the end that was all that she could say. After all, it wasn’t like they were ever meant to speak face to face ever again. Such a thing was not written in destiny, was not meant for them, because she was always meant to disappear, never meant to exist. Not the way Riku did.
