When the girl voiced her opinion, Odette seemed to consider it quite intently. A hand was raised to rest just below her bottom lip – curling around her chin as if the motion could aid her thought. She definitely ruled out the one to which there was too much colour and shape, leaving the lake and rolling hills to choose from.

“No, I think you’re right. While it does blend a little, it features the wall and doesn’t take from its surroundings.” Making her decision, the princess picked up the large painting and personally fixed it to the wall – ignoring the servants who rushed over to aid her. While she appreciated their help, she certainly did not need it for such simple tasks as hanging up a painting, and she politely declined their aid. She had done a number of things by herself in previous years and she was not about to submit to laziness.

Once ensuring that the art was straight and in its proper place, Odette turned to the smaller girl and smiled, clasping her hands together in front of her. “Thank you for your help. I should think I would have probably chosen that painting in the end, though a second opinion is never something I turn down.” While she was still curious as to who this child was and how she had managed to find herself here, the Princess was hardly threatened or in a position to throw her out. She simply nodded her head politely and continued to speak.

“What is your name?”

Taking note of the way that people rushed to aid the woman when the lifted the painting to hang it herself, the Nobody figured that she was likely a very important person. Whether or not it was a good idea to help her was still debatable, considering the lavishness of their surroundings and how eager the servants appeared to be, but she would deal with any problems as they came. Hopefully they would not, but there was always the chance…

Watching as the painting was straightened the blonde admired it for a moment before looking at the woman again. ”I'm always happy to offer my help,” she said with a slight nod, hands clasping together in front of her. A true enough statement, and she paused for a moment before introducing herself, ”My name is Naminé.”

For a moment her gaze was distracted by the painting again and she gazed at it for a few more moments, unable to stop herself from asking—

”Did you paint that lake?” While there was a chance that she had, there was also a chance that she hadn’t, but it wouldn’t hurt to ask. It really was a beautiful painting, one that she could probably stand and admire for a while, as much as it did seem to blend into the wall. As a decoration it was mostly to enhance the space rather than to make it prettier, but all the same.
