{(♕)} Ceasing her searching, she scooted over to where the other was, frowning at the discovery. It was true, it was indeed a very tiny doorway. Could quite possibly be helpful sure—
With that thought rolling, she maneuvered her way back to the table. Steadying her hand, she scooped the amazingly small key into her cupped palm, taking extra care with it as she made her way back to the door and dropped down into her previous position.
“Well it’ll fit that’s for sure.”
Continuing to hold the key gingerly she considered a rather important note for this situation. As she spoke, she {gently} shoved her hands at the other girl, a silent request to do the unlocking herself.
”I’m pretty sure my hand can’t even fit through there! I don’t think there’s anyway for us to fit through there! Do you have any ideas as to what we can do? I’m afraid my idea well has run dry for the time being…”
Being handed the key made her blink in confusion a few times and she was unsure of accepting it before finally holding out her hand and letting it fall into her palm. As careful as possible she tried to cup it and held it close to her person, a frown appearing on her features as she tried to think of a way for them to sort out this mess neatly.
Such a tiny door wouldn’t allow either of them to pass through and even if she did manage to unlock it, they would still be stuck in there—potentially forever. With a soft sigh she carefully slid the key up to her fingers and grasped it gently, trying not to tremble as she lowered herself flat to the ground and tried to unlock it.
”We can figure that out after this door is unlocked.“
The key slid into the lock and she let go of it, instead using her forefinger to press against it and twisted her finger to unlock it. Really the key was far too small to hold between her fingers and twist it at the same time, and she was relieved when she heard a click—
And then jerked back as she heard gears turning and weights falling and inched back as she watched colossal cracks appear all around the doors and them upwards to the ceiling of the room that they were trapped in. Everything shook and trembled and she stared, eyebrows raising, at the wall.
