The ocean that she had appeared near was incredible. Or perhaps incredible was too strong a word, but it was certainly a beautiful stretch of beach and ocean and she couldn’t help but sit there and pass the time lightly dragging her pencil across the pages, breathing in the salty ocean air as the sun sank lower and lower in the sky. Until it drifted behind the horizon, and the world said goodnight to the sun, and good morning to the moon.
Stars began to peak out up in the sky and the blonde wiggled her toes into the sand as she listened to the waves crash against the sand and her gaze lifted to watch the water hit the land roughly and then trail up it gently and she propped her chin on her knees, sketchbook lain forgotten between her torso and thighs. Moments passed as the night sky turned from purple to black and she wondered if it was time to go—
Before blinking in surprise as, along where the sand met water, things began to glow.

Standing up quickly she left her sketchbook where it was and walked out towards the water, only glancing back once and feeling inexplicably pleased, albeit confused, by the fact that gentle blue lights followed her path after a certain point. Looking at the ocean again it was as if the night sky had dropped some of its very own beloved stars into the sea, as if the sky was saying that it loved the world also and wanted to gift it with something special.
A silly thought really, and she knew that there was probably a logical and realistic explanation as to why lights were glittering in the ocean so beautifully, but for the time being she couldn’t help but stand out among the shallow water, staring down at the water and the glimmering lights, enthralled.
Sometimes, worlds could be beautiful.
