"Let me do it!"
Send me one to see how my muse reacts!

Libraries could be very troublesome. Well, not so much the library itself, but rather the shelves that were incredibly high off of the ground and were impossible to reach unless one was very tall or had something to stand on to help give them a small boost in height. And the bookshelves were inside of the library, which automatically meant that the library was troublesome because the bookshelves were troublesome. It also didn’t help that dragging a chair over to a certain bookshelf was awkward and loud, and there were no little things lying around that would aid in reaching a high up book.

Thus was her problem in that moment as she strained to reach a book, lifted about as high up off of the ground as she could manage on her tip toes. A hand was braced against a shelf and she was trying to push herself higher, but it wasn’t exactly doing much for her except making her shoulder ache. It was in moments like those that Naminé sincerely wished that she was taller, as it would make things like reaching high places much easier.

Moments away from resigning herself to going off to grab someone to help her, someone seemingly appeared randomly besides her, making her drop down to her feet and stumble back slightly, blinking out of pure surprise as she glanced over at the young woman besides her. She was certainly taller than the blonde, albeit not by much, and had a grin on her face and was offering to help—no, insisting upon it—and had a bright look in her eyes that made the Nobody nervous because this young woman definitely wasn’t tall enough to reach the book.

Yet she was already approaching the bookshelf and a foot was on the lowest shelf and the blonde’s eyes widened further as the young lady was actually climbing the bookshelf, which absolutely was not allowed in the library. ”W-Wait, you can’t—“ oh, it seemed that she was being waved off. And reassured that everything would be fine because—

                                    I’m the Great Ninja Yuffie!”

The Great Ninja who didn’t even know what book that Naminé was looking for to begin with… which really didn’t help matters and she took another step towards the bookshelf. ”It’s not safe to climb the bookshelf, you should come down. I can always ask someone else to help me,” someone who would actually know what, exactly, she was looking for, for instance. Or at least someone who could drag a chair over without feeling weird about it or aspiring to climb the thing like a monkey first. Yet once again she was brushed off with the reassurance that everything would be fine—

Yuffie was already falling before she even finished the sentence.

And took a few books with her on the fall down.

Unable to move fast enough to dodge the young woman—the bookshelves weren’t that high, sadly—Naminé quickly found herself to be the landing cushion for the girl who, though she had the best intensions to help her, really just made a mess of things. And was crushing the Nobody, in spite of their somewhat similar statures.

                                                                        ”Oops…”

                                             Libraries really were very troublesome.
