A laugh—
a laugh that indicated of indifference from who she once was to who she was now. Even if a lick of trying to be her before self wasn’t going to fool something she created and more than likely shared a mind with; connected by mind or connected by heart? As if they were amongst a field of grass and once a fire ablaze, if one caught in the circle of the heat, the other would soon perish.
“Speaking of nonsense would be speaking without sense; do they not translate well or does your mind just not understand the complexity at work? You’re so young - so naive, trust your lady when she says everything will make sense to you once you join me.”
And now, she reached out her cyan gloved hand out to her living masterpiece of life, a subtle smile creep’d above the surface, eyes gleaming in the shade of darkness.
”——Don’t be afraid.”

Darkness was something that she was not familiar with. Not when her lady made sure that their beautiful castle of ice was always illuminated with the light of the sun, the moon, shimmering down through the panels of solidified water. The darkness in the queen’s eyes was unfamiliar and terrifying in their unfamiliarity and she was not sure how to comprehend it.
Created in the image that her lady wished for she was a being of only ice and little else, solid through and through without a heart, without a mind of her own. They were connected, their fates intertwined, because Naminé knew that without her lady she would perish. And without her, her lady would be alone again—
Yet was she truly alone in that moment, in her mind? Something was not right, something did not connect. All of it was jumbled and made no sense yet all the same she was compelled to take the hand extended to her. The hand that had created her, the only hand that would never cause her to melt, the hand that belonged to her creator who she would always, always be compelled to follow.
Even into hell.
So she took it.
”I will never fear you, my lady.”
