virtusxcor-archive ; "Hey--HEY! Brat!" An audible call, harsher the final count due to the fact that she was most likely ignoring him. Ire was drained from benign countenance once the Alchemist faced her, hands turned out from back and held in front of him; her usual pair of cerulean sandals within center of gloved palms. "--I re-made em'. Y'know--since I uh--kinda' ruined the last pair with that prank." A gradual pause, head bowed before amber crown was risen once more and gaze settled unto her. "Sorry." |
Ignoring was a harsh word, because she wasn’t really ignoring Ed. It was more like—she was simply overlooking his existence for just a little while, and sometimes she acknowledged that he still existed but mostly did not talk to him. … Alright, so maybe that was ignoring and a more flowery way of saying it, but he had glued her sandals to the floor and it wasn’t like she had an infinite supply of them.
That being said she still couldn’t help but bristle at being called a brat—which was maybe called for, considering that she wasn’t portraying the most mature manner of behavior at the moment, but it was still rather harsh. For a moment she had half the mind to actually ignore him, but her curiosity got the better of her (as it always did) and she turned to look at him with raised eyebrows, before her gaze fell to his hands and she stared at the pair of sandals that sat there. Which looked exactly like her usual pair.
Was than an apology…?
Stumped and a little gob smacked for a moment she stared at the sandals and then looked at his face and then back down at the sandals again before the muscles in her neck and shoulders unknotted and relaxed once more. Still it took a few more moments for her to pull a smile to her face, slight as it was, and she accepted the shoes quietly, holding them in her hands for several seconds before inhaling deeply and looking at him again.

”Thank you, Ed. You didn’t have to…”
No really, he hadn’t, she had never been very good at holding grudges and it would have blown over in no time. The fact that he went through that trouble for her, however, made her happy in spite of everything.
”But I really appreciate it. So thank you.”
