“Yes … much better.”  She won’t even bother to answer the girl’s question, because the answer is as painfully obvious as the rest of her all-too-bright hair.

There’s still work to be done, but at least improvements have been made.

“Tell me, was that your first hex?”  She says this in a way that could easily insinuate either some sort of virginity being taken, or impending doom.  Or both.  Most likely both.

The feel of magic in her fingertips is intoxicating, though: it still sparks in her hand, the residual heat of her spell not having fully left her palm yet.  She could just as easily cast another one, and the girl wouldn’t even notice — but, somehow, she feels placated at just this one hex.

Question blatantly ignored the blonde shrugged it off and instead looked at her hair once more, plucking up strands of it and surveying the way that the tips of her blonde strands had turned dark. It looked rather odd… certainly unlike anything she had ever seen, and she hoped that it would wear off soon. If at all.

”—Yes.” Hexes were a branch of magic, she knew that much, particularly dark magic. Though it was less the mention of hexes than the way that the question was said that made the hair on the back of her neck stand up.

All the same she took another moment to look at the young woman in front of her, actually looking at her appearance properly for the first time since they had run into each other. Even if this person had tried to turn her hair black…

”You seem very skilled with magic.”
